Did you know your treadmill should be lubricated based on how often its used?

Make sure your treadmill is running just as well as you are. Keep preventable repairs away!

 

The below treadmill lubrication schedule is just a suggestion, please refer back to your manufacturer for more information.

 

Use Frequency:

Home exercise
When you  operate your treadmill for 1 hour or more each day, add 100% silicone lubricant every 20 days, about a half ounce each time.
When you operate your treadmill for 30 minutes – 1 hour each day, add 100% silicone lubricant every 30 days, about a half ounch each time.
When you operate your treadmill  for 30 minutes or less every day, add 100% silicone lubricant every 60 days, about a half ounch each time.

Commercial GYM
When you operate your treamill for 12 hours each day, add 100% silicone lubricant every 10 days, 1 ounce each time.
When you operate your treamill for 8 hours each day, add 100% silicone lubricant every 15 days, 1 ounce each time.
When you operate your treamill for 4 hours each day, add 100% silicone lubricant every 30 days, 1 ounce each time.
